Naomi Hoe Trainer
Naomi has designed, developed and taught programs in Asia for finance professionals covering investment banking, capital and global markets. The learning programs delivered included executive level training of the top 30 global financial institutions.
She started her career in finance in 1994 with the Monetary Authority of Singapore where she specialized in the end-to-end review of market, credit and operational risk controls and pricing engines of derivatives within global investment banks and commercials banks. She also extensively reviewed applications for initial public offerings (IPOs) and acquisition financing, where she refined her financial analysis, valuation and model building skills, to provide insight across a company’s capital structure.
Later on in her career, Naomi joined Bloomberg in sales, followed by a stint with Reuters in consultancy. In 2002, she joined DBS Bank Singapore, within the Market Risk Management Division, and had responsibility for fixed income and credit risk assessment. From 2004, she moved to JPMorgan Chase as Vice President of Market Risk Management and her last role there was market risk oversight of a regional trading business spanning the assets classes of foreign exchange, fixed income, equities and credit in 14 Asian jurisdictions.
